Flowers by Liana creates handmade ceramic flowers in New Zealand, thoughtfully crafted by Tauranga pottery artist Liana. Inspired by nature, each ceramic flower is individually formed, glazed, and fired to celebrate the beauty and permanence of botanical forms.

Designed for homes, gardens, and walls, these unique pottery flowers offer a lasting alternative to fresh blooms. Every piece is made with care in the Bay of Plenty, embracing organic shapes, gentle movement, and subtle variations that make each flower truly one of a kind.

Liana's Artistic Journey: A Love for Clay

In August 2024, Liana embarked on a transformative journey by enrolling in a hand-building night class at the Bethlehem Pottery Club. It was here that she discovered her profound love for working with clay, igniting a passion for crafting beautiful ceramic flowers that has flourished ever since.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant blooms of her garden, Liana finds endless inspiration throughout the seasons. Initially captivated by the delicate beauty of hydrangeas, she soon expanded her repertoire to include calla lilies and, more recently, dahlias roses and much more. Each piece reflects her admiration for nature’s exquisite colours and shapes, combining artistic interpretation to appeal to a wide variety of tastes and colour palettes.

Versatility is at the heart of her creations, designed to adorn any space—whether they grace a flat surface, hang elegantly on a wall, or beautify in the garden on stakes. Liana’s ceramics embody the enchanting essence of nature, inviting you to explore a diverse collection that resonates with your personal style.
